Monday's Muse

Monday, September 21

Sorry, but the image containing the Monday's Muse has been removed from this blog so as not to violate any copyright issues.  Thanks for your understanding!

This weekend I was in a chat group with an author who said she was going to be giving away one of the Gilles Marini calendars to celebrate an upcoming book release, so I couldn't help but feature him today as Monday's Muse. I know I have featured him before, but I think he is just so incredibly sexy, and that accent....I'm a goner :) Waking up to this on a Monday morning would make me verra happy.

I was going to have a muse in a kilt this week since I will have Sue-Ellen Welfonder as my guest featuring her newest book A Highlander's Temptation, and Diana Gabaldon's An Echo in the Bone releases on Tuesday, but sadly I didn't have one in my archives (can you believe it), and ran out of time to find one. So if anyone has any sexy highlanders you'd like to share send'em my way! I promise to take good care of them :)

Here's what's happening this week at Seductive Musings:

  • Tuesday: I will have Teasers for Servant: The Kindred by LL Foster, and from A Highlander's Temptation by Sue-Ellen Welfonder...and will be announcing the winners from the Susan Kearney Lucan giveaway
  • Wednesday: Share the Love meme where we can all share something that we love. This week I have chosen a song....but you'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out what it is. Make sure you have your pick for Wednesday.
  • Thursday: guest author Sue-Ellen Welfonder will be here, in addition to the monthly Seductive Museums Gallery of Fine Cover Art meme post. I haven't chosen my favorite cover yet this month, but I do know I have one that is my least fav. Post your favorite book cover this Thursday.
  • Friday: is the monthly Hidden Gems meme post. I have my hidden gems picked out for this month, do you?

I also hope to have a few promised reviews for you. Alaine -Queen of Happy Endings had a great post this weekend on the dreaded TBR....and no it's not the To Be Read Pile (which is massive and like a siren call for me) it's To Be Reviewed (a procrastinator's nightmare)...i.e. me. I really am going to try and be better about this, but you know what they say...the road to hell is paved with good intentions :) Oh, and if you want to participate in any of the meme's just use the links to find out more.

May your Monday be inspired!

My FREE Kindle Quest

I've wanted a Kindle for what seems like forever, but haven't been able to afford it (and that's saying something since I can justify the cost of just about ANYTHING that I really want). I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both and gift cards on this rewards site)
