Here's a question for you....

Thursday, April 8

Since I've been busy with the new design for the past couple of months I haven't had the chance to line up many guest authors for the upcoming months.  Now that I'm getting close to the end I'm thinking that I need to focus on this my question to you is what authors or books would YOU like to learn more about?

Leave a comment letting me know which author/book you would like to see as a guest at Seductive Musings and why.  (Please keep in mind that I feature mainly romance novels on this blog)

*I am an Amazon affiliate and receive a small (and I mean very small) referral fee for purchases made using a link on this blog. I don't use Amazon to earn money, I use it because the widgets are cool, easy to use, and serve my purposes to showcase books & such with minimal effort, but most importantly they have great prices and offer both new and used items. As a book addict I love that I can find just about anything I want in one place. If you are going to purchase a featured book anyway, and you know you won't pay more by using the links on this blog than you would by visiting Amazon on your own, I will be eternally grateful for supporting this blog by using the links, and don't forget that the referral fees from your purchases will sponsor the "Reader Rewards" giveaways :)

I think PC deserves more exposure, her writing is so good and she's the nicest woman. I've been visiting her blog (incidently, she also has a Monday Muse of sorts but it goes by "Man-Titty Monday"...told ya she was cool, LOL!) and she's very open & interactive with her readers. She writes both historical & romantic suspense. Her reviews on Amazon for both sub-genres are very favorable. I love her I-Team series. Her blogsite has contact info if you are interested.

I've been on a romantic-suspense kick and have been trying to find new authors to try, these names have been surfacing, haven't read anything by them yet:

On the straight contemporary side:

SARAH MAYBERRY (catagory roms)

Just some ideas :)

You can host a special events week: erotic historicals.

I just found out Evangeline Collins writes as Ava Marsh. Under that pen her erotic m/m stories are highly seductive.

Julia Templeton just released Victor. I haven't heard much about this book, but after Sinjin I bet its a fantastically HOT read.

Kate Pearce has an upcoming release, Simply Insatiable. Very sensual series.

Lisa Valdez, Thea Devine, Maggie Robinson, Amanda McIntyre, Charlotte Featherstone, Sabrina Darby.

How about Renee Vincent
I loved her book Raeliksen & the sequel MacLiam is due out sometime later this year. MacLiam is book two in her Emerald Isle Trilogy.

These are all great suggestions! Keep em coming!!!

FYI Charlotte Featherstone will be my guest this month on 4/26 to celebrate Sinful and Maggie Robinson will be here on 6/9 to celebrate TWO new books.

Looks like I have some investigating to do...It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it :)

Armenia April 8, 2010 at 1:21 PM

LOL, I want your job! Can someone plese pay me for reading? hehe

Booklover1335 April 8, 2010 at 1:25 PM

I'd like to have that job too!

I actually just found this great romance author with a bodyguard series: Cindy Gerard. I'm not sure if she's new or not, but would love to see more on her books.. Shayla Black is awesome (don't know if you feature erotica though). Chanet Chapman, Lynsay Sands, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, J.R. Ward (who has a new book due out at the end of April!!)

Booklover1335 April 9, 2010 at 7:15 AM

Hey CallMeKayla!
Thanks for the suggestions. Cindy Gerard's bodyguard series has been around for a while. I just finished FEEL THE HEAT and really enjoyed it.

Shayla Black has been my guest several times. If you do a search of the blog you should find a feature on her Doomsday Brethren series as well as Delicious.

I'll take all of your suggestions and write them down. Thanks

Great list of authors so far. I would add Rhyannon Byrd-she has a new book,Touch of Seduction out in her ongoing paranormal series, and Tracy Wolff is another one. I really like her erotic romances, and Tease Me just came out this week.

Booklover1335 April 9, 2010 at 2:01 PM

I've never read Tracy Wolff before but I've seen a lot about this book because of her recent giveaway with Shayla Black...she's definitely going on my list of authors to check out.

I've enjoyed Rhyannon's paranormal series, but have fallen behind...just haven't been reading as much paranormal. Has she written in any other genres recently?

I like the idea of giving new authors a shot. Beverley Kendall is a new author of historical romances. Her debut book SINFUL SURRENDER is worth a look.
Beverley is also a fellow blogger. Her site HISTORICALROMANCEREVIEWS is a bit different from yours, but worth checking out.

Hi there :)
oh, I'm currently reading Something about You by Julie James and I really really like it!!
do you know Shannon K. Butchers books? they are great!!
more tipps: Erin Nicholas, Stephanie Tyler, Christy Reece and Dee Davis...
maybe you will like them too?
wish you all the best,

If I could wish for one author then I'm going to go out on a limb here and say....Diana Gabaldon and her new Graphic Novel The Exile (based on Outlander). I know DG doesn't consider her books "romantic novels".....but let's face it.....Outlander has something like 28 sex scenes and is the start of Jamie and Claire's romance...and it is Very Very Romantic!!!

Booklover1335 April 11, 2010 at 3:31 PM

Mitzi--when you dream big, you DREAM BIG! Although it would be very exciting. I sent her an invitation for An Echo in the Bone, but never heard from her....however due to all of the promo she was doing for the book I'm not surprised. But hey, I'm up for anything! She can only say no right?

And I wholeheartedly agree...Outlander definitely started out as a romance. I mean Jamie doesn't make best romantic hero lists for no reason :)

I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both and gift cards on this rewards site)
