Giveaway: A Halloween Treat for Romance Lovers

Saturday, October 2

Fall is my favorite time of year, and since it is frowned upon for adults to go trick or treating, I'll just treat you instead :)  Forever Romance has offered to giveaway the following Paranormal romance sets to three lucky Musings followers.  You could win all of the books listed below (and pictured above)...
Not only are they all by some of the most popular paranormal romance authors, but almost all are "firsts " in a series.  So if you haven't had the chance to read them yet, than this is the perfect place to start!  Here's how you can enter to win...

Ways to earn entries:
  • Mandatory: Answer this question: What was your most memorable/ favorite/ god awful Halloween costume?  Do you still dress up as an adult?  (good for 1 entry)
  • Mandatory: You MUST be a Google Friend Connect (GFC) follower in order to be eligible to win (unfortunately an email subscriber, or subscription in Google reader, and a follower are not the same thing so make sure you are signed up as a follower if you'd like to win this book)
  • If you have a blog, or even if you don't, you can earn extra entries by telling your friends. If they successfully enter to win and mention that you sent them you can each earn extra entries. You can blog about it with a link to this post, post it on Facebook, Twitter, email...or even word of mouth (good for 5 entries for the referrer and the commenter for each friend) . Please note that to earn the points they must mention your GFC name so that I can match you.
  • Purchase any item from the Seductive Musings Amazon store by using this link, or the Amazon widget contained within this post and email a copy of your purchase receipt to me no later than the deadline to enter (email available in sidebar). Sorry purchases made prior to this date do not apply, and link contained in this post must be used. No faxes or snail mail copies are allowed. No purchases are necessary to win. (good for 25 entries, or 50 entries if a purchase is made from the featured author's available titles)

I don't use Amazon to earn money, I use it because the widgets are cool, easy to use, and serve my purposes to showcase books & such with minimal effort, but most importantly they have great prices and offer both new and used items. As a book addict I love that I can find just about anything I want in one place. If you are going to purchase a featured book anyway, and you know you won't pay more by using the links on this blog than you would by visiting Amazon on your own, I will be eternally grateful for supporting this blog by using the links, and don't forget that the referral fees from your purchases will sponsor the "Reader Rewards" giveaways :)

Great giveaway! Hmm, my most "memorable" costume would probably be Pippi Longstocking. I put wire coat hangers in my hair, the whole nine yards.

I'm a follower, retweeted and added your contest to my contest list at Thanks for the opportunity!

I don't dress up for Halloween except for perhaps putting on something a tiny bit unconventional but no full costume.

I would have to say when I was little I always really liked my cinderella costume. Cinderella is my favorite disney princess to this day and I just loved to dress up as her. I do not dress up anymore for halloween, I leave that to all the cute little kids.

My most memorable Halloween costume had to have been when I was a witch one year, I loved the costume, it had glitter and sparkles...but the sparkles went fact, I wore this costume at least 3 years ago and I'm still finding sparkles every once in a while.

I'm already a GFC follower :)
Thanks for sharing this amazing contest!!! :D

The lamest Halloween costume was a "teenager" when I was a teenager. Actually, I, my sister, and her best friend were all too old to go trick or treating anyway it was my last time).

As an adult, the easiest costume I had consisted of dressing in all black (shirt, jeans, boots), topped by a black leather coat and black cat ears - sort of an UF catgirl. I also have a pirate costume, but I don't really dress up anymore.

Bethie October 2, 2010 at 3:10 PM

Thanks for the giveaway. My most memorable costume was a vampire.
I follow on GFC.

This contest is not just good, it's wicked good ; ) Thank you : )

I usually wore super-hero costumes, but one year, I decided to be girly-girly. Mom was thrilled when I told her that I wanted to be a fairy princess. The thrill didn't last long! The costume and tiara, which were coated in glitter, shed hot pink sparkly glitter all over the place. Our house, our car, my mom, and everything I touched got a dusting of fuschia fairy dust!!! The next year....I was Batman!!!

My most memorable Halloween costume was a Strawberry Shortcake one. You know the kind that had the cheap plastic mask & elastic band to go around your head, the outfit was a plastic smock. It came in a box & I LOVED it! Ah, brings back great childhood memories. :)

I have never dressed up for Halloween as an adult.

The last costume I can remember for Halloween was dressing as a "little girl." I had a plaid skirt, knee socks and braids with painted on freckles. It was pretty lame and I was getting too old to trick or treat, so that was the last time I did. I haven't dressed up as an adult.

Artemis October 2, 2010 at 8:02 PM

Unfortunately, no, I don't dress up for Halloween any longer. No reason to; although I wish I had one.

I don't have any memorable/favorite/god awful Halloween costume stories. Not even when I was a young girl. Looking back, what a shame. I need to change that! Have an adult Halloween party that rocks!

Awesome giveaway!

I don't really have a favorite costume as a child. We got what costumes we could afford when I was a child. I don't dress up as an adult. Please enter me in contest.

My most memorable costume was a big ugly clown costume. There is no reason for me to dress up anymore so I don't bother.

When I was young, my favorite was a ghost costume because I always got cold when I was trick or treating, and you could wear anything you wanted under that sheet and no one would know. I was usually all bundled up in warm pants and a jacket underneath.

Great giveaway.

I was raised on a farm out in the country. We didn't get to go trick or treating because the houses were a mile or more apart.

What a fun giveaway!

Um... lets see... Most memorable: Shirley Temple - I was in Junior High, it was fun, but sleeping in the curlers to get the ringlets - OUCH!

Now that my hubby and I have little kids, we do dress up as adults. Last year I was a VERY pregnant pumpkin... had a baby in January, so I really do mean that one :)

My most memorable costume was Charlie Chaplin. I ended up looking so much like him with the makeup I scared myself. No one knew it was me until I started to laugh and they realized it was me.I was in my early 20's. I delight in seeing all the kids dressed up now and giving out candy.I'm an email subscriber and GFC follower under Lucky47.

My worst costume was when I was about 11 years old, and my mother made me dress up in a dog costume. I was totally embarrassed and I think it took days to forgive my mother for that one!

The best costumes weren't one I wore but made for my daughters. Before they sold the unicorn costumes, I made my eldest a unicorn using a white sweat suit. I sewed fur on for a tail and mane then made a horn for the hood with glue and glitter. My youngest daughter's costume was a pile of leaves. So I sewed silk leaves to a sweat suit and a hat. It took me several weeks to make but it turned out awesome.

I don't dress up myself.

This is rough. I am crazy about Halloween, and I love dressing up. One year I dressed up as a dark angel. I wore black leather pants, a black fishnet top with a corset over the top, and beautiful black feather wings. I also wore dental quality fangs (used them the year before with a vampire costume and still had cement left), a black wig with some red weaved in, long fake eyelashes, I had of course some very pale make up (except for eyes) and I had a friend draw some tats on my arms. This I wore to work (at the time I worked at Casino Morongo in California). My customers loved it, and I have to say the tips were awesome!

Thank you for the chance!

As a 12 year old I dressed up as Phyllis Diller, right down to her cigarette holder and cigarette. I loved that costume. I occasionally dress up as an adult but not this year.
