the best gift given is a photo album. i know that dosnt sound much to some ppl. but it means alot to my husband and bc he is in the army and he is deploying again this feb to iraq(alot better then afgan). last time he went to afgan is when our son was 3 months old and my hubby missed all his son first year. he going to miss his 2nd year now this feb, so i got him a photo album of us so he can take it w. him and see his son every stage that he have missed. it has all the pics of him and his son and our wedding and our dating time. i think its the best gift that my hubby loves and i know i love it to bc it means so much to me. so yea that is the only gift i got that my hubby like and will treasure all time and when he over to iraq.

One of the best gifts I've gotten was a hand print in plaster of my 4year old daughter. She painted it and signed her name with a little help from grandma! I have it hanging in my dinning room. Its the simple things that mean the most!

The best gift that I have ever given is opening up my home for my exboyfriend to come live with my family, he was my boyfriend at the time he was living with us. He didn't have a great family situation so coming to live with my family was a great thing for him.

I've been close friends with the same group of women since we met in our 20's. One of them recently turned 50 and we put together a scrapbook for her of pictures, notes and letters from ourselves, and her family and other friends. We gave it to her at her birthday party and she was pretty overwhelmed.

It's sad to say, but the best gift was probably last year when our family bought gifts for three children through DFCS. If felt wonderful to have helped those kids have a good Christmas and I was proud of my children who helped pick the gifts out.

Best gift I gave or should say will is the one I will be giving this year to my mother. She is a crazy Twilight fan I on the other had cannot stand it. I find it ridiculous beyond words. But I love my mommy more then I hate sparkly vampires and so I spent 50 freaking dollars of my hard earner cash to buy her the hard cover box set.
Love it she will and that's all that matters because she's the best and deserves it and more.

The best gift I gave was the Tickle Me Elmo. I looked everywhere for that,it was the one gift my nephew wanted. So I finally found one,it was the last one there. When he opened the gift,the look on his face was priceless and he was so excited,he had thought Santa forgot what he wanted and was so upset at home.I'll never forget that Xmas.He was so happy.

Thanks for the great giveaway. The best give I've ever given was an ipod to my boyfriend. It was when they first came out with the video ones like 5 years ago. They were impossible to find and really expensive. Well he kept saying he wanted one so I got one without telling him. Now for me to not tell him was soooo hard. I just wanted to give it to him as soon as it came. When he opened it he was so shocked that he actually cried and said it was the best present he ever got. I was so happy.

The best gift I ever got for Christmas was my dog, Ranger. :) He's 15 now, and we got him when I was 4, he was in a big box at our family Christmas party...we used to have them every year because my parents owned a hotel in our small town so we used the bar part for parties :D
Anyways...he's my baby, and I'm thankful for him everyday. I actually wanted to name him Black Beauty because he has a white star shaped patch on his chest, he's techically named after the Black Power Ranger...my brother and I were die-hard Power Ranger fans haha

I think the best gift I ever gave was a memory blanket to my late Mom. It had all pics of her and her siblings and her Mom and Dad. She treasured the blanket for many years.

Hmm...the best gift I've ever given...I haven't given it yet. This year as a gift to my hubby I am going to surprise him with a overnight stay in Memphis (my mom is going to keep our child and this will be the first time in years we have been able to go somewhere without the kid) and I bought a sexy outfit to wear for him (I've never dressed up so this should be a shock for him). I am so excited and I can't wait! :)

My son traveled out west when he was 18 and had to pawn his 35mm camera, bag, etc to get home. He didn't have a very good job, so didn't have the money to get it back When the card arrived notifying him he had a week to redeem the items or they would be sold, I called and paid the amount and had them mailed to me. I held onto them and wrapped them for his Christmas present. The look on his face when he opened the box was worth it.

On April 3rd, 1971, the day my husband got out of the Navy, I received a single yellow rose at work with a card from him with the words "One and only rose for your one and only last day of work".
I have two great sons and they have given me fantastic grandchildren. My husband and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary this year and yes I am still working.
That card with that single rose was the best figt I received because it was given with the love of a young man but with a love that is everlasting.
The best gift I've ever given was a digital photo frame to my mom with photos already loaded to an SD card and plugged in. Had newer photos as well as older scanned in photos of her mom and dad (both deceased).

The tiara I gave my mom was the best gift I've ever given. She grew up poor and there was this girl who was very mean to her who wore a tiara. My mom told me every time she saw this girl all she wanted was the tiara. My mom is 78 so a few years ago I bought her one of her own.

I think the most unusual was for my nephew who was going through a growth spurt. Fixed up a big Rubbermaid tote and put ZACH'S SNACK ATTACK in foam letters on it. Filled it with his favorite snacks and power bars. He still talks about it.
One of the best gifts I ever gave was when I was a teenager. I had my first job so I was spending my own money on presents. My mom had been complaining for years about the state of our towels and washcloths so I bought her a 12 piece set that matched her bathroom. My dad helped me wrap it. Mom was shocked that the biggest gift was hers but the look on her face when she opened it - Awesome!!

My family will tell you the best gift I ever gave was the year noone had money to give gifts and we bought the one small grandson I had a few gifts and did things for each other. I wrote letters to my son-in-law and grown grandsons who were married, letters to tell them what I expected from them as head of their household both materially and spiritually. They are the leaders of their families and will answer to God how they fulfilled this position in their families. I wrote the women that their place by their husbands side was very important to God and what it meant to be a virtuous woman to their families. They tell me that when things are not going so good they pull these out and re-read them. One grandson told me they both keep theirs in their family Bible and a time when things got bad between them they went and got them and read them to each other and worked out their problems. I wish someone had done that for me, I might not have ended up divorced. We learn by our mistakes.
