Today I am over at historical romance author Ashley March's blog as a guest blogger to celebrate her 1st annual March Madness event where I am talking about something I feel is missing in historical romance...more commoner heroes, like....Derek Craven, or even Mr. Darcy. Why aren't there more "Mr.'s" in historical romance? Don't they deserve to find love too?
I hope you join me there and share some of your favorite commoner heroes, what you love (or don't love) about them, and if like me you'd like to see more of them in historical romance. Share you thoughts and show me some comment love (on Ashley's blog) :) And as a bonus Margaret Rowe is the guest author and I'm sure she'll be giving away something good :)
Update: Here is the link to the actual blog post.
p.s. I'm not quite sure when the post will go up on Ashley's blog (maybe 3'ish am EST) but make sure you leave a comment to be entered into Ashley's weekly reader giveaway (5 books) plus other small prizes as well as the grand prize!
*I am an Amazon affiliate and receive a small (and I mean very small) referral fee for purchases made using a link on this blog. I don't use Amazon to earn money, I use it because the widgets are cool, easy to use, and serve my purposes to showcase books & such with minimal effort, but most importantly they have great prices and offer both new and used items. As a book addict I love that I can find just about anything I want in one place. If you are going to purchase a featured book anyway, and you know you won't pay more by using the links on this blog than you would by visiting Amazon on your own, I will be eternally grateful for supporting this blog by using the links, and don't forget that the referral fees from your purchases will sponsor the "Reader Rewards" giveaways :)
