Monday's Muse

Monday, July 11

Sorry, but the image containing the Monday's Muse has been removed from this blog so as not to violate any copyright issues.  Thanks for your understanding!

Last week was a hellish week!  Everything I had planned to try and get done in both my personal life, as well as on the blog went up in smoke...not literally Thank God :)  It was hot and humid, and I was beyond frustrated and having no down time.  So mid week I took a few hours and went with my little love to the county fair.  They must have seen us coming a mile away because after only a few hours I had spent over $50 on the two of us and have only one inflatable rainbow pony to show for it :)  But we had fun, and I guess that is what matters most, right?  Right.

While there I chastised my teenage self (many moons ago) for not seeing the potential in a boyfriend who worked on a farm (at the time I only had eyes for a member of the swim team).  Because I have to say the ones I saw this week were rockin' those Levi's and cowboy hats :)  Not that I looked much or anything  :)  So I self medicated with Lorelei James's newest Rough Riders, Chasin' Eight.  It was HAWT, but in a much better way than the hot and humid temps we had last week.

This week looks to be much the same, so I thought what better Muse to have than someone who's feeling a bit of his own heat with a very seductive way to cool down.  Makes me wish I was the woman with the ice cube, how about you?

This week at Seductive Musings:
  • Tuesday-Wednesday:  I hope to be able to post a few reviews.  That plan didn't work out so well for me last week, but I am hoping I'll be able to find the time to make it happen.
  • Thursday:  I hope to have a Thursday's Thoughts...but we shall see
  • Friday:  Is the beginning of the Blogfest Giveaway.  I have some amazing books for you in just about every romance sub genre. I hope you think so too.
  • Tempting Trailer: This week is for a cowboy anthology, Give Me a Texas Outlaw.  I have cowboy on the brain after devouring Chasin' Eight last week, so my need for more should come as no big surprise :)  And I think that might just be Paul Marron on the cover :)

Finally, I'd like to congratulate all of the authors will new releases this week.  There were only a few that I found interesting, so this week should be kind to your wallets.

Paul Marron is so hot on "Give Me a Texas Outlaw" that I bought it already (and read one of the stories, too)!

I still don't get why, given his awesome gun belt, his gun is stuck down his pants.

    My FREE Kindle Quest

I've wanted a Kindle for what seems like forever, but haven't been able to afford it (and that's saying something since I can justify the cost of just about ANYTHING that I really want). I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
    Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both and gift cards on this rewards site)
