On Sunday I had another "do nothing" day. I wish everyone could have those! I know I'm lucky that I can take a time out, and set aside a day here and there to do only the things I want. And this past Sunday I wanted to read Never Enough by Lauren Dane. So I read the entire thing *sigh*. I LOVE the Brown Siblings series, especially Laid Bare, which still remains my favorite out of all four books. I'm sad though that this is supposed to be the last book in the series :(
I have some serious cover love for this book. I received an email from a Musings reader recently asking me if I could find out who the cover model was. I think it's safe to say that we would all like to know his name because, WOW. After reading the book I think this cover is even more fabulous than before. For a couple of reasons, but most importantly because Gillian, the heroine, has a "thing" for Adrian's forearms and wrists, as well as his tattoos. I have to admit, I think it's very sexy as well. VERY. I can't even explain it, but yeah....yum. Which is why this pose, showing his arms, and his tats, does it for me in a big way, then add in the rest of the package and it's a stunner! It's also why Adrian Brown is my Muse for the week :) (I only wish they would have included his piercings other than the ones on his ears in the picture.LOL)
BTW I would give this book a solid 4 stars, and 4 on the sensuality scale. Have you read Never Enough? Have you read the series? If so, what's your favorite part or book? My favorite is still Laid Bare. The heroine, Erin, I just loved her. Though I loved Ella, and I also loved Brody...I've got to go with Erin's book. I find that I'm like that with first books in a series. I seem to almost always favor the first one more than the ones that follow. How about you?
This week at Seductive Musings:
- Monday: I believe I have winners I need to announce so I will be back later today to make some readers happy :)
- Tuesday: Reviews
- Wednesday: Paranormal Romance author Shona Husk will be my guest to share her debut novel, The Goblin King...the cover alone should make a couple of Paul Marron fans happy!
- Thursday-Friday: Reviews but possibly a Thursday's Thoughts post. It's been awhile since I've had one and have had many thoughts brewing for awhile. I'm thinking e-books most recently.
- Tempting Trailer: This week's Tempting Trailer is for Erin Quinn's latest novel in her Mists of Ireland series, Haunting Embrace. In my opinion, the world could use a few more tempting Irish heroes :)
It's a budget busting release week! I can't even begin to tell you how many books I wish I had the money to buy. I'd like to congratulate all of the authors will new releases this week, especially Musings authors Shayla Black, Erin McCarthy, Maya Banks & Karin Tabke, Stephanie Tyler, Jill Shalvis, Vicki Lewis Thompson, Monica Burns, Christina Crooks, Eden Bradley, and Vivian Arend!!
