Monday's Muse

Monday, January 30

Sorry, but the image containing the Monday's Muse has been removed from this blog so as not to violate any copyright issues.  Thanks for your understanding!

I'm still battling this wicked bronchitis.  It just won't give up.  I'm told that it is bad this year and that many people are getting it.   I don't know how people telling me this is supposed to make me feel better, because it doesn't, it just makes me pity those poor souls all the more.

Since I was feeling better though, I didn't do as much reading.  However I did get the chance to start Sarah MacLean's new book A Rogue by Any Other Name, and I am loving it!  The heroine has a thing for the hero's thighs...which is something that I can completely appreciate & understand where she is coming from. LOL.  So, in honor of Penelope's love of a well muscled thigh, I give you this week's Muse :)  I think he is particularly lovely, don't you?

This week at Seductive Musings:
  • Tuesday:  Debut author Anna Randol will be my guest to celebrate her historical romance, A Secret In Her Kiss.  I'm very interested in this story since it is set in the Ottoman Empire and can't wait to learn more about it.
  • Wednesday:  I will have another debut author, Sophie Barnes to celebrate her historical romance How Miss Rutherford Got Her Groove Back.
  • Thursday:  Jennifer Haymore will be my guest to share with us her the second book in her Donovan sisters series, Secrets of an Accidental Duchess.  I love books with secrets!
  • Friday:  We'll leave the realm of historical romance with author Katie Reus who will be my guest to celebrate the release of her new paranormal romance, Alpha Instinct...we're talking Highlander wolf shifter heroes people :)
  • Saturday:  I have some winners to announce so I'll be back at some point during the weekend.
  • Tempting Trailer:  This week's Tempting Trailer is for Victoria Alexander's new release My Wicked Little Lies.  This is another of the mini movie book trailers, which don't always work for me, but I have to say that I really liked this one.  Accents may be fake, as well as the blond hair...the story it told however captivated me.  I'm gonna have to check it out.

Finally, I'd like to congratulate all of the authors will new releases this week, especially Musings authors Sarah McCarty, Donna Grant, Victoria Alexander, Anna Randol, Jennifer Haymore, Kate Pearce, Emma Lang, Sophie Barnes, & Shona Husk.  Congrats ladies!

Sheree, no PM this week?  What's up with that!  Did I miss one?

I hope you feel better soon!

I did see the reprinted "Banner O'Brien" by Linda Lael Miller in Barnes & Noble that has Paul Marron on it. Also, he's on the stepback of Jennifer Haymore's "Secrets of An Accidental Duchess". In fact, Paul "marries" both Donovan sisters (he's on the stepback of the first two books in the series)!

:D No complaints about this muse! :D

And as to this week's posts--I've very much looking forward to coming back for each one of them! You have some awesome authors coming by, lucky girl! :D

And Highlander shifters? Hell yeah I'm coming back for that! *Wink*

Only a few on The List this week. What a way to start off the month of February. It's a portent.....ack!!

Love the Muse. Thighs will be the death of me yet. *sigh*

Get well soon. I just have the crud. Has been with me for a few weeks now.

Lovin' that Sarah McCarty cover.

Hey Carol!

I'm glad you've been enjoying the Muses :) I've been running short on Muse images so I decided in a moment of brilliance that I had not featured Gods of Football images in a while and who can go wrong with that? My only issue is that Rugby isn't big in the US, because I think it's a sport I could be very fond of ;)

Booklover1335 January 30, 2012 at 8:09 PM

Thanks for the well wishes! LOL How do you find all of these PM pictures? Do you just go to BN and look at all of the new releases?

And yeah, you know there are 2 more Donovan sisters in the series, maybe they will all get lucky and PM can have his own little harem of sisters. LOL. I certainly don't mind, especially with those stepback images which are so yummy :)

Thanks for the info. I know I can always count on you :)

TBQ I'll look forward to seeing you around! This week is full of all sorts of fun...including those shifter Highlanders...the best kind of paranormal hero IMO :)

I was kind of surprised at the small number of new releases this week since it was the beginning of February. That's good though because March is a budget buster!!

And, that Sarah McCarty cover is a killer! The book was pretty good too, but I was kind of surprised that it didn't have the same kind of sensuality level that the previous books had.

Hope you feel better soon too!

Booklover1335, if the Gods of Football look like he can carry any ball he wants, you know what I mean. lol
Bring them on. :)

Actually, I do go to Barnes & Noble to look at the new releases. :)

Unfortunately, the next Donovan sister book, PLEASURES OF A TEMPTED LADY, doesn't have Paul on the stepback so no sisterly harem for him. LOL
