Monday's Muse

Monday, March 26

Sorry, but the image containing the Monday's Muse has been removed from this blog so as not to violate any copyright issues.  Thanks for your understanding!

I read an absolutely fantastic book over the weekend!  The only downside is that it also completely ruined me for starting a new book because I was in romance reading "afterglow", LOL.  Do you ever get that way after finishing a great book?  Where you hate to even start something else because in all likelihood it might not give you that same sort of romance reading high.  That's where I'm at right now.

Want to know what I read?  It was Tessa Dare's A Week to Be Wicked.  It releases this week, and I think I'm going to go to the store and try to get it in print, even though I've already read it via a digital ARC.  That's how much I loved it.  I hope to have a full review later this week, but for now...Hero:  a to die for wounded rake that is so charming I can see why he totally knocked the bluestockings off of the heroine.  The Heroine:  loved her too.  She's smart and witty, with such a big heart.  I'm really loving this Spindle Cove series.

As for our Muse, he's inspired by my TV viewing of Dancing with the Stars last Monday.  Our Muse is a contestant on the show this season.  Yeah, seeing him shake it on the dance floor, with that sexy Cuban accent....I'll at least watch the show until he's voted off :)  Do you watch DWTS, or do you watch something/nothing else?

This week at Seductive Musings:
  • Tuesday:  I have a few reviews I need to post, but haven't quite decided which ones I'm going to try and get done.
  • Wednesday:  author Maggie Robinson will be my guest to share her new Brava historical romance, Master of Sin.
  • Thursday:  I will have a few more reviews for you, but it is spring break so while I'd like to have at least two....one may be more manageable :)
  • Friday: author Lexxie Couper will be my guest to share her rock star hero Nick Blackthorne while on his world blog tour for Love's Rhythm
  • Tempting Trailer:  This week's Tempting Trailer is for Michelle Marcos' Lessons in Loving a Laird which came out at the end of February.  Have you read it?  If so, I'd love to know what you thought of it.

Finally, I'd like to congratulate all of the authors will new releases this week, especially Musings authors Lori Foster, Julia London, Meredith Duran, Vicky Dreiling, Katie Lane,  and last but certainly not least Maggie Robinson!!!

I read anything Tessa Dare writes, she's on my must read list.
I've heard nothing but great reviews on A WEEK TO BE WICKED, now you too have sealed it for me!
LOL!! Thank you!

I do not watch DWTS, too busy in my evenings to sit and actually enjoy the tv. I have some evening shows I do DVR because I can't miss those. I will admit your Muse is one heck of a cutie though! ;-)

Looking forward to your guest on Wednesday, Maggie Robinson is another must read for me.

The trailer for LILAL by Michelle Marcos has me adding her book to my reads list. I'm not sure if I seen this book yet, have to check out the store by me. The joys of small town life! LOL! Thanks for the heads up.

Have a great day!

Hi Dahlia,

If you are already a fan of Tessa Dare's then you WON'T be disappointed. I think this is my favorite book of her's that I've read (have yet to read her very first trilogy). I'd love to know what you think of it once you have a chance to read it.

I don't watch very much TV, really only about 3 or 4 shows regularly because like you, my evenings are just too busy.

And good luck finding the Michelle Marcos book, in the meantime you may want to check out the contest on her Facebook page because her publisher is giving away 15 copies. Here is the link: http://a.pgtb.me/cCwP

Dang, only one Paul Marron cover this week. On the upside, there's also one with David Kimmerle and one with Steve Kuchinsky.

Sheree,

You know name dropping these cover models just makes me HAVE TO go google them don't you? LOL.

Maybe next week will feature more PM :)

My FREE Kindle Quest

I've wanted a Kindle for what seems like forever, but haven't been able to afford it (and that's saying something since I can justify the cost of just about ANYTHING that I really want). I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy one...so in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca gift cards on this rewards site)
