Guest Author & Giveaway: Carla Swafford featuring Circle of Danger

Thursday, June 7

I'm a big fan of series books...though I've recently come to the conclusion that I love series, only until about the sixth book.  And I really like a series when several of the books are already out, but I've just discovered them, that way I can totally binge on them all at the same time and not have to wait months to get my next fix, LOL.

My guest today, Carla Swafford is here to share a bit about what she loves about writing a series of books, and her mysterious "Seductive Stranger"....hmmm intriguing, no?  Enjoy!

~~~***~~~
Connections: The Seductive Stranger
I love stories that are connected one to the other. One secondary character becomes the main character in the next book. A place is mentioned in one book and becomes the primary location in another. And I especially love it when something or someone turns up unexpected.
You know, you’re reading a series and you’re in the third book. A light goes off in your head. Hot diggy! There was a slight mention of a guy in the same block of cells the heroine was being held by the bad guy in the first book and later the guy is dragged out.
Then in the next book there’s mention of a famous bounty hunter and how he’s dangerous. A stranger shows up and unexpectedly helps out and then disappears. By the third book, he has a bigger part in the plot, though you don’t know it’s the bounty hunter until the end of the story.
You look forward to the next book hoping that maybe this one will be his and then you can find out more about this love-at-first-sight worthy mystery man.
If that’s your kind of thing, then be on the lookout for that mystery man in The Circle series. Yep. I love stuff like that.
So let’s find out a little about that seductive stranger.
In a follow-up to Carla Swafford's sexy Circle of Desire, the agents of The Circle—a top-secret group of assassins—are back and on the hunt for a dangerous drug lord capable of bringing women to the brink of pleasure . . . and devastation.
Marie Beltane, a lowly data entry specialist for The Circle, resents being treated like a little girl and wants to help by proving she's worthy of being a full-fledged operative. Disobeying Arthur Ryker's orders to stay out of the way, she accepts a simple fact-finding assignment—only to have everything go horribly wrong. Now she's been injected with the drug responsible for the deaths of four local women, a drug that puts her sex drive into overdrive.
Ryker wants nothing more than to keep Marie safe from the world. He's already killed to protect her from one madman, and he may have to do it again. While on a search for an antidote to her mysterious drug, he falls into a trap and must fight a new evil. Now he must become the monster he's always feared to save the woman he's always loved.
I do love those wicked smiles. So many of them are crooked and can make a woman giggle like a school girl. LOL! Thanks, Daniela.
My seductive stranger: tall, dark blue eyes, very large build, no chest hair and a knee buckling smile. A smart wit and mind.
My FREE Kindle Quest
I've wanted a Kindle for what seems like forever, but haven't been able to afford it (and that's saying something since I can justify the cost of just about ANYTHING that I really want). I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy one...so in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca gift cards on this rewards site)
