Guest Author & Giveaway: Tracy Solheim featuring Foolish Games

Friday, December 6

It's finally Friday! Woo Hoo!  I can't think of a better way to start the weekend then a good sports romance.  I love them, even for sports I don't like in real life, like baseball, and soccer.  Luckily my guest author's book revolves around a football player.  Join me in welcoming Tracy Solheim and her new book, FOOLISH GAMES, as she shares her tips on how to win the game of love (I'm gonna take some notes, LOL).  Enjoy!

Top Ten – How to Win at the Game of Love

10. Wear red. Seriously, red is the color of love. In my latest release, FOOLISH GAMES linebacker Will “William the Conqueror” Connelly can’t help but notice bridal gown designer, Julianne Marchione, who’s wearing a sexy red dress at a wedding they’re both attending.

9. Be a gentleman. Of course, it’s Will’s Knight in Shining Armor complex that tangles both his and Julianne’s lives forever. A chance meeting in the hotel’s hallway, when Julianne can’t get her keycard to work, leads to a sexy encounter that neither one of them will forget.

8. Own up to your mistakes. Both Julianne and Will do a lot of this before they get their happily ever after.

7. Be pursuant. Will might have taken this just a little too far when he blackmails Julianne into marrying him, buy hey, it worked it in the end.

6. Learn to accommodate the other person’s needs. Sharing a house with a perfect stranger leads to a lot of unexpected surprises. Add a baby into the mix and life for Will and Julianne is a bit stormy. And steamy.

5. Ply him or her with food. I don’t know about you, but chocolate always works for me. When Julianne agrees to cook for Will, the sparks fly.

4. A kiss is worth a thousand words. A bit of passion can do a lot to smooth out the rough edges of a marriage—even a fake one!

3. Listen to one another. When Julianne finally gets a reluctant Will to open up, she not only discovers a lot about her “fake” husband, but about herself as well.

2. Trust one another. Will’s lack of trust almost destroys his budding relationship with Julianne, but, in the end, she has enough trust for the both of them.

1. Don’t play games! Love is about honesty and when Will and Julianne are finally honest with one another, they win.

What would you add to the list?

Bridal gown designer, Julianne Marchione knows better than to lose her head at a client’s wedding. But much to her embarrassment, a mix of migraine medication and a smoking hot football player lead to a steamy one night stand resulting in a surprise pregnancy. Julianne has every intention of leaving her NFL hookup far in the past until her son, Owen, is born with a life-threatening blood disorder that requires a transfusion—and Julianne is not a match.

Will “William the Conqueror” Connelly grew up tough shouldering the stigma of being a bastard child born on the wrong side of the tracks. He refuses to let any child face the same discrimination. When he finds out about Owen, he’s furious that Julianne kept his son a secret. But when he sees her again at the hospital, he realizes that his feelings for her go far beyond anger.

Will insists that Owen recuperate at his home in North Carolina, and he’s adamant that Julianne become his wife—even if it’s only a temporary marriage in name only. But will their simmering attraction ever lead to a real connection? Or are they just playing foolish games?

I think you've covered them all Tracy! The only thing I can think to add is to #10, the rule about wearing red. I'd amend it to and white, black, pink, and little lacy underthings too!

I agree with all ten on the list.

I've wanted a Kindle for what seems like forever, but haven't been able to afford it (and that's saying something since I can justify the cost of just about ANYTHING that I really want). I've tried winning one in one of the many giveaways that have taken place over the couple of years, but with no luck :( So I've decided to take matters in hand so to speak :) I've now decided that I am going to accumulate enough Swagbucks from my Swabucks searches to buy in essence my new Kindle will be FREE...funded entirely by my internet searches done on Swagbucks. I'll keep you informed of the Great Kindle Quest below (in case you're interested....if not feel free to just skip over this part, but really who wouldn't be interested in a FREE Kindle?)
Goal: $119
Current Swagbucks Amazon Gift Card balance: $90.00
If you'd like to learn how you can earn Swagbucks and earn your own Amazon Gift Cards to buy books, a Kindle or other merchandise sold at Amazon contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you how I plan to go about it. (just so you know you can earn both and gift cards on this rewards site)
